Soap Opera Shooting "Wah Cantiknya" at Nikko Bali Resort
& Spa
The cast and crew from PT. Tripar Multivision Plus Film Production
stayed at the Nikko Bali Resort & Spa to complete shooting for
a TV comedy movie titled "Wah…Cantiknya" (How Beautiful…..).
Starred by the famous actor and actress: Tamara Bleszinsky and Anjasmara,
the shooting took place throughout the resort and it is scheduled
to go to air for 5 episodes on SCTV which is one of Indonesia's
largest TV channel. The entire cast and crew gathered together to
have their photo taken with representatives from Nikko's staff.
Visit of Minister of Agriculture Forestry and Fishery of Australia.
At Nikko Bali Resort & Spa The Minister of Agriculture Forestry
and Fishery of Australia Mr. Mr. Warren Truss had stayed at Nikko
Bali Resort & Spa. His visit was in conjunction with the recent
Preparatory Commission's Conference of World Summit of Sustainable
Development which was attended by all United Nations countries'
delegations.
The Prime Minister of The People's Republic of China, Mr. Wen Jiabao
had stayed at Nikko Bali Resort & Spa during the 9th ASEAN SUMITT,

"Film-Shooting of Movie Series at Nikko Bali Resort & Spa"
PT. Jelitavisindo Megah Film Production recently completed a TV
series shooting at Nikko Bali Resort & Spa, entitled "Sebatas
Impian" (It's just a Dream), starred by the famous actors and
actresses: Roger Danuarta, Asti Ananta, Vonny Cornelia, Adi Pura
and Alip Santoso as Film Director. This is a unique local action
movie taken from an old tale depicted in a modern life with lots
of action techniques. The shooting was done in resort settings and
in various tourist areas in Bali. This will also be used to promote
Bali as one of Indonesia's leading tourists' destination. Aside
from Bali the film shooting also took place in Bandung, Jakarta
and Australia. This movie series consisting of 26 episodes is scheduled
to be aired from April 2004 or by the latest May 2004 on INDOSIAR
- one of Indonesia's largest TV channels. This movie series will
also be promoted and shown in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China
and Australia.
The entire cast and crew along with representatives from Nikko Bali
Resort & Spa gathered together for a posterity photo taken at
the lower lobby of Nikko Bali Resort & Spa Indonesia Attorney
General, Mr. Marzuki Darusman stayed at Nikko Bali Resort &
Spa during his visit to Bali recently in relation with the official
announcement of the opening ceremony of District Court Office /Court
of first instance in Singaraja North of Bali.
The Meeting of Cooperation on Maritime of China and South Borneo
at Nikko Bali Resort & Spa. The Minister of Transportation The
people's Republic of China, Mr. Huang Zheng Dong and Mr. Syachriel
Darham, Governor of South Borneo, had stayed in Nikko Bali Resort
& Spa recently, in conjunction with the meeting they held in
which the main topic was to work out a closer cooperative program

A Dinner reception of Coast Guard training had just held at Graha
Sawangan Nikko Bali Resort & Spa recently which was attended
by the representative from Indonesia, Japan and Philippines. This
event was supervised by the Marine Police Department of each country
Further to this program, after conducting training sessions in a
row at Benoa, each representative had organized a dinner reception
and invite all of the training members . The one at Nikko Bali was
hosted by Japan's Representative and attended by all VIPs of each

The Senior Vice - Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Mr. Tetsuro
Yano had stayed at Nikko Bali Resort & Spa recently. His visit
was in conjunction with an official visit to see the development
of Peace keeping Operation (PKO) in East Timor and also meeting
with Ms. Megawati Sukarno Putri, the President of Indonesia. Seen

The Parliament Secretary of Japan Defense Agency, Mr. Toshio Kojima
had stayed over at Nikko Bali Resort & Spa from 11 March - 15
March 2003, before continuing his official trip to East Timor to
see the development of Peace keeping Operation (PKO) implementation
