Mimpi Resort Tulamben is located on the idyllic northeastern coast of Bali and at the foot of Mt. Agung lies Bali's premier dive resort, the superb Mimpi Resort Tulamben with 13 Patio Rooms, 12 Deluxe Cottages and 4 Ocean View Cottages.

Designed in traditional Balinese style, all rooms are air conditioned with private outdoor showers and minibars. A beautiful open-air dining room is open all day, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Dedicated to the serious dive enthusiast, (Mimpi's outdoor showers are accessible from a separate outdoor entrance, so divers may enter directly without having to first enter their room) the Mimpi Resort Tulamben provides the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday whilst exploring some of Indonesia's most interesting underwater adventurelands. The wreck of the USS Liberty lies just off-shore and instruction by experienced professional PADI dive instructors is available, as is rental equipment.

About Tulamben

The small village of Tulamben, on Bali's north-eastern coast is rather unremarkable at first glance. Its beach is a spread of black sand covered by smooth, fist-size rocks, the water-worn remains of rubble cast here by the 1963 eruption of Mt. Agung.

Like all the north coast villages, there are no lush rice fields here - Mt. Agung and the other mountains steal the rain, which comes from moisture-laden air that blows in from the south. Thus South Bali is the island's rice bowl.

What brings people to Tulamben however, is not visible from above water. People come here to dive and explore the fantastic underwater world of Tulamben Bay. The Mimpi Resort Tulamben is the ideal place to start the explorations.

Bali Hotels in Candidasa, Tulamben & Nusa Lembongan Candidasa is around 2 hours drive from Kuta or the airport of Bali. Candidasa Tourist resort is beautiful place to feel the other parts of Bali. Most hotels in Candidasa are located by the beach. Unfortunately the beach is not suitable for swimming. Amed is one of Bali's diving spot. It is around 3 hours drive from the airport of Bali and is 2.5 hours from Sanur. Nusa Lembongan is another small island around 45 minutes on sailing boat from Benoa Harbour or Sanur. There are some luxury resort such as Nusa Lembongan Resort and Waka Nusa Resorts. Other accommodations are Coconut Beach Resort and Bali Hai Tide Huts.
